Can you have sex during pregnancy?

It is the most common that couple have sex without even suspecting, the woman is pregnant.So at the beginning of pregnancy, sexual activity has the same frequency and intensity than before. However, after learning the diagnosis, there might be several situations in which you continue the activity until you have none, either through fear or other reasons and without any of it affect the pregnancy. But generally, when it approaches its end, relations are hampered by the normal  characteristic  changes of the process, they have to do with fatigue, vaginal secretions and discomfort by increased volume and weight.
 
In the first weeks of conception, "sexual activity or favors abortion causes birth defects?

Not at all, the sexual activity does not cause abortions or generate malformations , if any of this happens it would be due to other causes, too often abortion is precisely because of any irregularity or defect in the product.

Is it normal for pregnant women to undergo changes in their sexual appetite?

Yes, it is very common especially during the first trimester because women feel less desire because of nausea, vomiting, fatigue or headache. In the second quarter, when usually these symptoms have passed, both the desire and sexual activity resumes, so it is considered an equilibrium. And although there is no contraindication with respect to sex, the third quarter is usually very uncomfortable for the mother, so the man whom pregnancy does not affect their desire, their sexuality will, we hope, so the couple has mutually agreed.

Will sex cause labor ?
Not at all. There is no basis whatsoever for asserting that sex can trigger labor in the third quarter by uterine contractions that women have during orgasm, and although there may be a change in fetal heart rate is only temporary and harmless. This doubt may arise because prostaglandin is a substance (present in the semen) that is used to induce labor.

The man as sexually partner must be away for safety of mother and child?

Instead, the man must have a closer relationship with his pregnant partner to enhance the bonds of love, marriage and security that encourage the mother to care, especially if there are clinical situations of risk, the affection and closeness of the couple's favor pregnancy outcomes and provide a huge benefit to mother and son.
