Bug Out!

Did you know that your skin is full of tiny creatures? A billion bacteria, fungi and other parasites are on your body! Many diseases and harmful elements in the environment are protected, but they grow ... they can become very dangerous. Here's how to get rid of it when they attack ...

Eyelids
If your eyelids burn and your eyes are bloodshot, it may be rosacea eye, a painful inflammation caused by the parasite Demodex folliculorum.

The solution
"Give your eyelids a daily bath," recommends Dr. Benjamin Barankin, a dermatologist in Toronto. By keeping your eyes closed, rub your eyelids with a mixture of equal amounts of water and baby shampoo, then rinse thoroughly. Once the symptoms disappeared, continue treatment once a week.

Face, chest, back
According to a recent study, beyond their thirties, a man continues to suffer from acne. This is partly due to Propionibacterium acnes. "When the pores are clogged by dead cells, the bacteria grows and causes pimples," says Dr. Barankin.
The solution
Exfoliate to promote cell renewal and keep pores clear. Gently cleanse the face 1-2 times a week using a glove in the shower, the skin is already well softened. For chest and back, use a loofa.

Armpits
The Propionibacteria and other bacteria take up residence in armpits.
The solution
Remove unwanted hair from your armpits, use antibacterial soap and antiperspirant. "The hair is not the cause of the smell, but removing it reduces the area on which bacteria can grow," says Dr. Debra Wattenberg, a dermatologist at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

Hands
The bacterium Staphylococcus aureus is the most common of our hands. When it fits into a small cut, it can cause a paronychia (infection around the nail).
The solution
Soak the injured finger in hot water 3 to 4 times per day. This mobilizes white blood cell that will clean the infected area.

Groin
The fungus Candida albicans grows in very wet or under stress, causing penile candidiasis. The symptoms are itching and a red and raw appearance of the penis. "This disease is more common than we think," said Dr. Melissa Pilian, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic (Ohio). Uncircumcised men have a higher risk.
The solution
Wash with an unscented soap. Rinse well, dry thoroughly and apply an antifungal cream.

Feet
The microbe Brevibacterium thrives in the dark and damp. This is because of him that the feet and certain cheeses stink!
The solution
Bathe your feet two times a week in a solution containing 50% white vinegar (to kill germs) and 50% salt water (for dry skin).
